Do you want to drink something",會被以為是...
Jason的外國客戶來訪, 開會前他想禮貌性問對方,要不要喝杯咖啡、茶之類的: "Do you want to drink something?","You drink?”
Do you want to drink something?"
(X)Do you want to drink something?
(X) Would you like a drink?
(X)Do you want to drink something?
(X) Would you like a drink?
Do you want to get something to drink?"或"Can I offer you something to drink?"
What kinds of drinks do you want?"
稱讚別人酒量很好,英文用 "He can really drink.",說自己滴酒不沾,則這麼說 "I don't drink at all."。
(X)I don’t drink and smoke.
(O) I don’t drink or smoke.
(O) I don’t drink or smoke.
Tipsy
Merry 小醉
Drunk
Pickled
Wasted
Hammered
Merry 小醉
Drunk
Pickled
Wasted
Hammered
記住了,下次有人問 "Wanna have a drink with us?" 不要問 "Drink what?"
